According to early box office figures from Hollywood.com, 'Avatar' (Fox) took in $36 million over the weekend to push its domestic gross to $552,797,418. It is currently in second place on the all-time domestic gross list, behind 'Titanic,' which has taken in $600.8 million domestically.
